Minimum Requirements | An appropriate national senior certificate/grade 12 certificate or (Vocational) NCV Level 4 certificate A diploma in any field or equivalent qualification. A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years’ employment experience in rendering Supply Chain support services. Knowledge of relevant legislation, prescripts, policies and procedures, Basic Supply Chain Management and understanding of supply chain processes. |
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills | Knowledge of Records Management of documents. Good interpersonal and communication skills to interface with people at different levels and diverse backgrounds. Good telephone etiquette and experience in using computer applications MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Always maintain confidentiality. Good organisational and basic events management skills. Ability to create spreadsheets and manage basic databases and presentations. Basic knowledge of financial administration, including budgets, and managing cash flow. |
Duties | Supervise and render general clerical support services; Record, organize, store, capture and retrieve correspondence and data; Update registers statics; Handle routine enquiries; Make photocopies and receive or send facsimiles; Distribute documents/ packages to various stakeholders as required; Keep and maintain the filing system for the component; Type letters and or other correspondence when required; Keep and maintain the incoming and outgoing document register of the component; Supervise and provide supply chain clerical support services within the component; Liaise with the external and internal stakeholders in relation to the procurement of goods and services; Obtain quotations, complete procurement forms for the purchasing of standard office items; Stock control of office stationery; Keep and maintain the asset register of the component; Supervise provide personnel administration clerical support services within the component: Maintain a leave register for the component; Keep and maintain personnel records in the component Keep and maintain attendance register in the component; Arrange travelling and accommodation |
